This is a theory involving only elementary school math and minimal speculation.
As three-dimensional organisms we are moving through linear points on the line of
time of which both ends extend infinitely and every point is in existence. A plane of
possibilities is composed of infinite lines of such that either run parallel or intersect on
a single point. A space of all universes is composed of infinite such planes… As three-
dimensional organisms, our perception is never limited to the third dimension,
although the third dimension sets the boundaries of the utmost that we can control or
partake in. That is, we can never escape the linear motion through the line or skip to
another line that is not our own, nor can we alter what is already existing on the line. It
is like how a shadow of a puppet on a wall only stays on that wall, and it shall never
touch the opposite wall.
However, if we shift the position of the puppet (which is a 3d object), we can project
another 2d shadow onto different wall but of slightly different angles. It is also true
that, as 3d organisms and points on the 4d line of time, we can have similar projections
on other lines, and lines on planes, and planes in space.
They are always present, but we cannot partake in their existence— although there is
a possibility that we have always been watching. Through dreams, through
hallucinations and all, when we are not aware of the natural stimuli around us at the
moment.
