so we danced

My shirt is soaked by aroma of the roses

She gave me yesterday;

I wore the same shirt today

To feel her warmth and to remember

Her honey-sweet smile.

I thought she looked best in her white dress,

When she glowed under the California sun

And danced along the Mediterranean waves;

Until yesterday.

We met in an orange forest,

Scents of ripe apples filled the air.

Her coat was weaved by the color of autumn; she smelled like

The roses she brought me.

Will you dance with me?

Gladly.

So we danced.

Fallen leaves creaked under our bare feet.

So we danced.

Like two butterflies among fields of roses.

So we danced.

As if it was our last dance.
