dweller
Piled up on shelves
Stacked up mounts
Filled up to the corners
Till they spill like water
Scattered all about the house
Under pillows beneath chairs
Playing hide and seek
Surprising me when they appear
Messes on the table
Some opened
Pages torn
Dog-eared
Covers glittering in the sun
Like colorful autumn leaves
Lying on the ground
I pick one up
Flip through the pages
Where different markers
Have left their traces
The dweller
