A one and a half minute piece of music played by an ensemble Ms. Silva works with called THE CLAREMONT CLARINET QUARTET (this live recording comes from a Webb Sinfonia class presentation on January 9, 2023). Titled "Tico-Tico,” it is an enduring international hit, composed by Zequinha de Abreu, a Portuguese émigré to Brazil. Its global popularity launched in Hollywood in more recent years.
