Jellyfish

Dwindling dwindling gracing among

the cerulean seas, glowing in the nigh.

I float. I dance. I glide. Dancing high-strung.

Through loving tides. I eat. I fly. Then die.

You see me. Your pressed face against the glass

In awe of my jewels, so chandelier.

A precious sapphire I know I surpass,

To I understand is quite insincere.

I am exquisite. Everyone adores

My beauty, dreading my deadly poison.

I shimmer alone, as currents explore,

Aquarium palace into prison

Promising me enduring existence,

Sentience falls apart, forever since
