Breakfast Crew

Mr. Warren

Faculty Advisor

Mr. Warren is so happy to be advising Breakfast for a second year. You can find him looking for birds on Gym Hill, going for a run on Thompson Creek Trail, or talking about books in the Inferno. Here he is kayaking with (unpictured) sea otters! He hopes you enjoy this year’s edition!

Lindsey Azurin

Editor in Chief

L - lovely, I - interdimensional, n - new, d - designer, s - supercalifragilistic, e - expialidocious, y - yes. Here’s Lindsey’s super awesome, totally amazing, extra sweet Trader Joe’s Order: feta cheese and caramelized onion bites, green onion pancakes, mini chocolate chip ice cream cones, white cheddar puffs, and mac and cheese balls. Lindsey has never attempted a single horror game, but she watches other people play (it helps her sleep)

Jerry Qiao

Editor in Chief

Take care. Jerry likes tea and manga.

Caroline Pulliam

Assistant Editor

If you see a stray Stanley with a bunny straw topper lying around campus . . . it’s probably Caroline’s. Her collection of cardigans is rivaled only by her number of pets (11, but who’s counting?) and her overflowing bookshelf.

Aanya Mehta

Assistant Editor

If you know Aanya, you probably don’t. She’s always shopping, buying things she doesn’t need, even though her bank account is at an all-time low. She loves hanging out with her friends and family, but don’t be surprised if she drops them for a table at Din Tai Fung. Someone please convince her to stop getting Starbucks 3 times a day.

Emma Liu

Assistant Editor

This is the biography of such a mysterious person.

Ava Austria

Ava will venture out and do anything as long as the trip ends with stopping at a boba place. Many of her friends describe her as someone who simply embodies the psyche of the Japanese anthropomorphized bear, Rilakkuma. She has a knack for reciting her favorite shows line-for-line and telling people that she can spell the word tchotchke. Her perpetual love for watching anime and reading manga has never wavered, and she creates playlist after playlist inspired by her favorite characters. (The playlists always include Taylor Swift!)

David Duan

Likes playing soccer.

Jewel Hou

Since being circle-thrown to Webb in sophomore year, Jewel has accomplished the enormous undertaking of continuing to exist! You can probably find her sleeping, playing guitar, drawing, or sinking all of her money into child-friendly gambling (Pokémon cards).

Sakeena Hussain

Sakeena is a fun-loving, ambitious, and adventurous sophomore. You can always find her trudging through homework, crocheting, or buying plushies of her favorite characters. She treasures spending little moments with friends that she wishes would last forever. Though she is still trying to figure out what to do with her life, she is ready to tackle any obstacle she faces. Every challenge will change the future, but she knows it will all work out in the end. After all, "Every sunset brings the promise of a new dawn." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Claire Jeon

Claire Jeon is a freshman who finishes all her homework because she wants to sleep but will be up late at night because the world holds an excessive variety of entertainment. In her free time she often texts or calls her friends (because a life without friends would be extremely tedious), or vibes to K-pop, specifically Stray Kids.

Melissa Lee

Melissa Lee is a sophomore. As of February 11th, her greatest accomplishment is playing Wordle 766 times. In addition to Wordle, Melissa likes to read, crochet, and bullet journal. Her only pet is her sourdough starter, Harold, who will be 5 years old this June. She may also have a Snoopy obsession, and her favorite book is “The Things We Leave Unfinished.”

Lychee Li

Lychee is a positive and creative freshman. She is courageous and enjoys thrilling activities. She rode the world’s tallest roller coasters at Six Flags Magic Mountain, dissected animals, and flew an aircraft when she was 11 years old. Her dreams are to skydive, become a surgeon, and invest, direct, and act in her own crime film.

Anna Meng

If you ever hear K-pop beats blasting out of a South Hutch upstairs window, it probably belongs to Anna. Anna loves collecting photocards and blasting music in her room with her roommate. Most of the time you can probably hear her yapping about her bank account, how New Jeans makes the best Music, and her love for her cat.

Jay Pang

Came into Webb confused and tired. Four years later, is still confused and tired. Questioned why he had to write this bio in third person and got the response: “You are the third person.” Enjoys ducks, irate avians, boats, and naps.

Chloe Stooksberry

Chloe is a sophomore who loves art and science. She just finds life, the universe, and everything extremely perplexing and wondrous. Learning interesting topics in school and at home is her passion, but so is achieving something great before going 6 feet under.

Sandy Li

Sandy likes to sleep, eat, wrestle, and sometimes write poetry. Her favorite snack is a blue taki wrapped in salami and dipped in cream cheese.
